Project Gilgamesh is a year-long campus exploration of poems, song, themes and study of the world’s oldest story “The Epic of Gilgamesh.” Tri-C commissioned Daniel Bernard Roumain [DBR] to write a contemporary songbook inspired by the ancient text, students’ life stories, and current issues.
The songbook will be recorded in the Fall at the Center for Creative Arts recording arts studios and made available to all students and faculty to download for free to use in classrooms, in creative projects and in performances sponsored by Tri-C Presents.
