Cuyahoga Community College

ArtsPrep Expectations

I.                  Registration Process:

All ArtsPrep registrations must be accompanied by a completed ArtsPrep Registration Form, available on-line at: www.tricpresents.com.

Registrations will not be considered complete until the “ArtsPrep Registration Form” has been received by the ArtsPrep office and payment has been made in full.  This includes all who are using Tri-C Remission of Fees.

All programs and classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.   Additional classes may be offered as dictated by the needs and demands of our students.  For private lessons, all efforts will be made to find the most compatible times for our students and teachers.

Registration and Payment may be made by Mail, Email, Telephone, Fax, In Person, or for Tri-C employees only, Tri-C Employees Remission of Fees.  For details on how to do any of the payment methods, visit our website at: http://tricpresents.com and go to the “How To Enroll” page.

In all cases, you must call 216-987-6145 to ACTIVATE your registration.

Automatic Re-Enrollment

  1. Re-enrollment in ArtsPrep is automatic from Fall Semeter to Spring Semester.  Moving from Spring to Summer and Summer to Fall will require an additional registration.  Students enrolled in an Academy are assumed to re-enroll automatically unless they specifically withdraw from lessons/classes between terms.  ArtsPrep instructors will provide recommendations to students as to the level of instruction most appropriate for the coming term.  Students will be billed by the ArtsPrep office accordingly.

Waiting list

  1. Instruction in a specific instrument or class might not be available all the time on all three campuses.  Therefore, some applicants might be placed on a waiting list until an opening becomes available.
  2. There is no way to predict when someone will be admitted from the waiting list.

II.               Financial Aid Process
Families may qualify for a need-based scholarship for ½ hour private lessons and course offerings.  Contact the ArtsPrep office @ 216-987-6145 for a scholarship application, or get an ArtsPrep Financial Aid Application Form on our website at: http://tricpresents.com and go to the “Financial Aid Information” page.

Priority for financial aid will be given to minors.  Barring unusual circumstances, financial aid will only be given for classes and ½ hour private lessons.  No Financial Aid request will be considered until an ArtsPrep Financial Aid Application Form is completed according to its instructions.
